Horde race
WoW Forever Orc Race
Orcs gain Shatter Curse, eight seconds of immunity to Curses and reduced magic damage, and Blood Fury now boosts Spell Power as well as Attack Power. That second change is what makes Blood Fury worth pressing on the new Orc Mage.

Classic 1.12 Orc racials
- Blood Fury: Melee attack power boost that halves healing received while active.
- Hardiness: +25% chance to resist stuns.
- Axe Specialization: +5 skill with one- and two-handed axes.
- Command: +5% damage for Hunter and Warlock pets.

What changes from Classic
Hardiness changes from a resist chance to 20% shorter stuns. Command, the pet damage bonus, is not among the four Forever racials; Shatter Curse is new.
Where Orc was the Classic pick
- Warrior (PvE, Horde): Axe Specialization plus Blood Fury made Orc the top Horde raid warrior; Troll Berserking was the close second.
- Warrior (PvP, Horde): Hardiness shrugs off stuns a quarter of the time; Undead with Will of the Forsaken was just as popular.
- Hunter (PvP, Horde): Command's +5% pet damage and Hardiness against stuns.
- Shaman (PvE (Enhancement)): Blood Fury and Axe Specialization for two-handed axes.
- Warlock (PvE, Horde): Command added 5% pet damage for pet-heavy builds; Undead was the other common pick.
