The Drowned City is new in WoW Forever and covers levels 35–40. According to Blizzard's preview, ancient troll ruins have risen off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale, bringing trolls, naga and stranded pirates with them. Stranglethorn is where many characters quest in their late 30s, which puts this dungeon right on the leveling path before the Armory and Razorfen Downs.
Updated from the beta client data · what the October XP changes did
The beta stopped at level 30, so nobody has run The Drowned City in WoW Forever yet. Each line says where it comes from: the final beta client (1.60.1.70532), Blizzard, or how it worked in Classic.
Datamined Three of its bosses, named by the client's sound and screen-effect rows: Zul'Alai is boss one, Captain Dreadrise boss three and Min'loth the Serpent boss five. Bosses two and four are not named anywhere readable. Daybreak Forever datamine
Three quests in the Forever data, all Horde-only, and none of them names its giver yet. They pay in reputation rather than items: Darkspear Trolls and Orgrimmar on two, and 300 Earthen Ring on the idol.
