Krol'dok Stronghold

Krol'dok Stronghold has the widest band on the WoW Forever chart: fifteen levels, from 40 to 55. Blizzard's preview describes an enormous outdoor ogre dungeon in Riverglades, with kidnappings, raids on nearby settlements and suspicious chanting at night. A range that wide suggests groups can return to it through the 40s and early 50s, but how its encounters scale has not been announced.

Before you go: getting there, keys and prep

The beta stopped at level 30, so nobody has run Krol'dok Stronghold in WoW Forever yet. Each line says where it comes from: the final beta client (1.60.1.70532), Blizzard, or how it worked in Classic.

How to get there

  • Reported Blizzard's preview places it in Riverglades as an enormous outdoor ogre dungeon. Icy Veins
  • Datamined Krol'dok Stronghold is one of Riverglades' new subzones in the client. Riverglades flies from Rog'mar for the Horde (to Stonard, Kargath, Flame Crest and Hammerfall) and Farholde Keep for the Alliance (to Lakeshire, Morgan's Vigil, Thelsamar and Powderfuse Port). Prep checklist

  • Datamined Its Normal difficulty points at level 40 content tuning, and a second row carries a daily lock. How the 40–55 band scales beyond that is not readable. Daybreak Forever datamine
  • Datamined The client carries a Krol'dok Compound Key and a Krol'dok Ogre Key ("It get job done."). What they open is not known yet. Daybreak Forever datamine
  • Datamined Dungeon enemies hit harder than in Classic: the client multiplies creature melee and spell damage by 1.2 in every dungeon, while their health stays the same. Expect more incoming damage per pull than old Classic numbers suggest. Daybreak Forever datamine

Not announced yet. No loot tables or quests for this dungeon have been published. The beta client datamine lists new items but not where they drop, so no boss drop is tied to this dungeon here.
