WoW Forever Professions
WoW Forever reworks professions around camping, new recipes and Blueprint drops, but most per-profession details are not announced yet. This page separates what Blizzard and the WoW press have actually said from the Classic 1.12 rules that are the best guide until beta.
What we know for WoW Forever
- Official Professions get over 600 new recipes across professions and level ranges, plus advanced Blueprint recipes that drop from dungeon bosses. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Every profession has three campsite objects learned at different skill levels. The first is learned at skill 20 from camping NPCs or profession trainers. Each object gives a one-hour buff that does not stack with the matching class buff. Blizzard Entertainment · Blizzard Watch

Profession-specific details so far
- Official Alchemy: Alchemists can learn to place an Alchemy Lab at a campsite. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Blacksmithing: Blacksmiths can place a Sharpening Wheel at a campsite that increases Attack Power. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Herbalism: Herbalists can place an Incense Candle at a campsite that increases Intellect. Blizzard Entertainment
- Unconfirmed Herbalism, Mining, Skinning: A new starting-zone quest rewards a choice of profession manuals for Mining, Skinning or Herbalism. Icy Veins
- Official Leatherworking: Leatherworkers can place a Tanning Rack at a campsite, and it is required for more advanced Leatherworking recipes. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Tailoring: Tailors can place a Faction Banner at a campsite that increases Spirit. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Cooking: The Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire that creates a campsite with rest, vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Cooking: A Basic Campfire holds up to three crafted objects from nearby players; cooks can learn upgraded Campfires that hold five or 10 objects. Blizzard Entertainment
- Official Cooking: Crafted food is adjusted and can grant a small experience bonus alongside stat boosts. Blizzard Entertainment
Not announced yet: campsite objects for Enchanting, Engineering, Mining and Skinning, all recipe lists, and any First Aid or Fishing changes.

- Mining + Blacksmithing: Bars straight into armor, weapons and stones.
- Mining + Engineering: Bars and stone for gadgets and explosives.
- Skinning + Leatherworking: Leather straight into armor and kits.
- Tailoring + Enchanting: Cloth drops become greens, greens become enchanting materials.
- Herbalism + Mining: Two gathering professions: the fastest gold while leveling.
