Map FAQ
Where do the zone level ranges come from?
From the leveling guides published on this site. Each guide lists the zones it routes through and at what levels, and the map collects those routes into one table. Zones no guide routes through are drawn for orientation but carry no level range.
Where do the dungeon levels come from?
From the WoW Forever dungeon chart the guides on this site are written against. Dungeons that are new in WoW Forever have a level band on the chart but no announced entrance, so they are listed under their level range instead of being pinned to the map.
Is this the in-game map?
No. It is an original drawing made for this site, laid out to match how the continents and zones are arranged on the Classic world map. No Blizzard map art or map data is used, so the outlines are approximate. This is a work in progress: once the WoW Forever world map is known, the shapes will be redrawn to match it.
How do I get to a zone?
Select it on the map and the panel names the roads, boats, zeppelins and flight points that reach it, plus the capitals on that continent. Travel routes follow the Classic network; WoW Forever may change them.
