How this quest runs

do inside

Durgen Dirgehammer is the last of the dungeon's four bosses, so this is the quest that decides whether your group clears to the end. It is step two of two, and the first step is a Dun Morogh breadcrumb, so it cannot be shared with someone who has not done that.

Before this quest is offered to you:

  1. Earthseer Farsen in Dun Morogh (64.8, 58.5) sends you to kill Dark Iron Spies near 76.7, 60.7 for the Underground Map

Quest text

Gather some allies and head down into the caverns beneath Old Ironforge. Enter the Hall of Thanes there and push to the lower vaults.

My Dark Iron is a bit rusty, but I can make out a name--one Durgen Dirgehammer. It's likely that he's the commander. Take his head and deliver it to King Magni Bronzebeard.

Oh, and when you do, tell him his old friend Farsen sends his regards!
