WoW Forever developers take community questions in a live Q&A on September 17

Blizzard is hosting a live World of Warcraft Q&A on Thursday, September 17, where developers from both the modern WoW and WoW Forever teams will answer community questions about the BlizzCon 2026 announcements. The Forever part of the stream is due to begin at 10:30 a.m. PDT, thirty minutes after the modern WoW segment opens the show.

How the questions were chosen

When Blizzard first announced the stream on reveal day, it asked players to post their questions on the official World of Warcraft forums. The developers said they would compile what came in and get through as many as time allows during the broadcast.

A second post, published on September 15, says those questions have now been gathered for the teams to answer. Blizzard has not said outright whether submissions are closed, but with the show only two days out, anything posted from here on is unlikely to be included. If you still want to try, the forums are the only channel Blizzard has pointed to.

What we know about the format

Blizzard describes the stream as a way to add more context to the BlizzCon reveals and to look ahead at what is coming for both modern WoW and WoW Forever. It has not shared a list of topics, which developers will appear, or how long each segment will last.

Because Forever gets its own time slot, anyone interested only in the new game can skip the first half hour. Joining a few minutes early is still sensible in case the handover between segments shifts slightly.

A few practical suggestions:

• Set a reminder on the Warcraft Twitch or YouTube channel so you don’t miss the start.
• Write down the questions that matter most to you and check whether they come up.
• If your time zone makes the live show awkward, the VOD is the easy fallback.

What it means for players

Panels and trailers tend to leave gaps, and a Q&A like this is where developers usually fill some of them in. Anyone still unsure how Forever’s systems will work, or waiting to hear more before choosing a main, should find it worth watching live or catching afterwards.
