WoW Forever talent calculators are already online after BlizzCon

Players did not wait for launch to start theorycrafting. Only days after World of Warcraft: Forever was shown at BlizzCon 2026, community-made talent calculators for the game were already available, pieced together from streams and the work of dedicated information-gatherers, PC Gamer reports.

Which calculators exist

PC Gamer mentions two options. The first is Wowhead’s calculator. The second is a version made by Reddit user Baldwinbuilds, which the outlet praised for collecting all of the currently known talent information in one place and for including a button that shows exactly how each talent was changed.

Retail talents make the jump

Going through the trees, PC Gamer found that a good share of the changes borrow familiar abilities from modern WoW:

• Mage: Hot Streak, Arcane Blast and Ice Lance
• Destruction Warlock: Immolation
• Restoration Shaman: Water Shield
• Druid healers: Wild Growth

PC Gamer’s writer admitted to being somewhat surprised that Blizzard has not gone stranger with its talent design so far. One exception stood out to him: Searing Strike, which he highlighted for how unusually niche it is. The report does not explain in detail how that talent works, so it is worth waiting for official information before building around it.

PC Gamer also connected this to Blizzard’s talk of unique, highly specific gear items in Forever, and said it is keen to see how far the studio experiments.

Treat every tree as a draft

There are good reasons not to commit to a build yet:

• The BlizzCon demos only went up to level 38, so the picture of higher-level talents is incomplete.
• Forever is not due until November, and PC Gamer expects the talents shown so far to change before release.
• These calculators are assembled from what the community could see during the event, not from an official data release.
