WoW Forever First Aid Leveling Guide: 1 to 300
First Aid is the profession every character should take in Forever. It still levels on bandages made from cloth you loot anyway, and it now also makes the healing potions that used to belong to Alchemy, plus new poultices and tourniquets. Its first camp feature gives your whole camp a Stamina buff.
Checked against the final beta datamine, build 1.60.1.70532, on . Overview and perks:First Aid page; every recipe: First Aid recipes.

First Aid 1-300 path
The bandage ladder is still the cheapest route: each cloth tier has a light and a heavy bandage, and the heavy one takes two cloth. Skip ahead to the next cloth whenever you have it; the table only needs the counts it lists.

What Forever changes for First Aid
- Datamined New First Aid curatives sit next to the anti-venoms: Simple, Clever, Superior and Powerful Poultice, and Woolen, Leather and Surgical Tourniquet. Daybreak Forever datamine
- Datamined Camping 101: First Aid sends you to a trainer for the First Aid Kit. The Dun Morogh version names Thamner Pol in Kharanos. Daybreak Forever datamine
- Reported The two vendors of the Expert book also sell Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage and Manual: Mageweave Bandage, so buy all three on one trip. wow-professions.com
- Reported The beta stopped characters at level 30, so nobody could train Artisan or test anything past 225 skill. Everything above 225 is untested in Forever. wow-professions.com

Making gold with First Aid
There are no Forever prices yet. These notes describe the Classic economy and are marked as such until launch data exists.
- Classic fallback Heavy Runecloth Bandage was the raid bandage of Classic, and Runecloth to make it was always in demand. Warcraft Wiki
- Classic fallback Classic First Aid had no Expert trainer either: the rank came from a book bought from a vendor. Warcraft Wiki

How this path is built
- Every recipe, reagent and skill colour comes from the First Aid data in the beta client, so the path follows Forever's thresholds, not Classic's.
- A program tries every recipe at every skill point and keeps the chain that uses the fewest raw materials. Crafted parts are broken down into what they are made of; finished goods and scarce drops count extra.
- Trainer recipes win over recipe items, and recipe items that are new in Forever count extra because nobody has confirmed where they come from.
- The client does not say when a trainer recipe can be learned, so we count such a recipe from the skill where it turns yellow. You can often learn it a little earlier.
- Camp features, cooldown crafts such as transmutes, faction-only recipes and recipes with rare reagents are left out.
Still unknown
- How the new poultices and tourniquets work in play, beyond their names.
- Whether the Triage quest has changed for Forever.
- Where the healing potion recipes are taught now that First Aid owns them.

WoW Forever first aid FAQ
Does First Aid make healing potions in WoW Forever?
Yes. Minor through Major Healing Potion moved from Alchemy to First Aid in the beta client.
How do I get Expert First Aid in WoW Forever?
Buy Expert First Aid - Under Wraps from Deneb Walker in Arathi Highlands or Balai Lok'Wein in Dustwallow Marsh. In Forever it only needs 125 skill, no character level.
How do I train First Aid past 225?
Complete Triage at Hammerfall or Theramore. It needs 225 skill and level 35.
How many crafts does First Aid 1-300 take in WoW Forever?
About 409 by our estimate from the beta skill colours, in 10 steps. 2 of the steps need a recipe item instead of a trainer recipe. Luck on the yellow steps moves the number a little either way.
