WoW Forever Skinning Leveling Guide: 1 to 300
Skinning is the gathering profession that levels itself while you quest: every beast you kill is a skill-up. The zones below are where to farm when you want to push faster than your questing. Forever adds a manual for Humans, a skinning quest outside Goldshire and a Camp Chair that gives the whole camp crit.

Your skill stops at 75, 150 and 225 until you learn the next rank, so train before you craft past the cap.
Skinning route by skill
Skin anything you can; a beast stays useful until its level is well below your skill. The rule of thumb is Classic's: up to level 10 needs 1 skill, then 10 more skill per level to 20, then five times the beast's level.

Every camp feature needs a campfire nearby and they all share one 60-minute cooldown. Power spikes while leveling covers which camp buffs matter most.

There are no Forever prices yet. These notes describe the Classic economy and are marked as such until launch data exists.
