Arathi Basin in WoW Forever

What we know for Forever

Strategy basics

Our advice from how these maps play, not a tested Forever meta: level 60 PvP was never on the beta.

  1. Hold three of the five bases and defend them; holding all five is rarely worth the losses.
  2. Take the base next to your start first (Stables for the Alliance, Farm for the Horde), then fight for the Blacksmith in the centre, which overlooks the others.
  3. Never leave a base empty. One defender who calls out attackers keeps a node more often than five players arriving late.
  4. Do not chase kills off a node. Assaulting a flag takes a few seconds and damage interrupts it, so clear the defenders before you click.
  5. Arathi Basin quests at Refuge Pointe (Alliance) and Hammerfall (Horde) give 200 reputation each for a Mark of Honor.
