What we know for Forever

  • Datamined Warsong Gulch is in the client's random battleground queue and in the weekly Call to Arms rotation. Daybreak Forever datamine · Daybreak Forever
  • Datamined The quest data has the Mark of Honor quests for the 10–19, 20–29 and 30–39 brackets: the Horde hand marks to Captain Shatterskull at Mor'shan Base Camp, the Alliance to Sentinel Farsong at Silverwing Grove, for 200 reputation each. WoW Forever Builds
  • Classic fallback In Classic it is 10 vs 10 capture the flag from level 10, in brackets of 10–19 up to 50–59 and 60. The first team to capture the enemy flag three times wins. Blizzard

Map basics and how to get in

  • Classic fallback Queue at a capital battlemaster or at the entrance: the Horde enter from the Northern Barrens, the Alliance from Ashenvale. Blizzard

Strategy basics

Our advice from how these maps play, not a tested Forever meta: level 60 PvP was never on the beta.

  1. Split roughly into defence, midfield and offence. Two or three players at home stop easy flag grabs; the rest push or hold the middle.
  2. Give the flag to whoever survives longest under focus fire, ideally with speed or escapes: Druids, Paladins with Blessing of Freedom, Shamans in Ghost Wolf.
  3. Healers follow the carrier, not the fight. A flag carrier with a healer behind them is hard to stop.
  4. When both flags are taken, the game is decided by who kills the enemy carrier first. Send everyone not escorting your carrier after theirs.
  5. Turn Warsong Gulch Marks of Honor in at your faction's camp outside the gates for reputation with the Warsong Outriders or Silverwing Sentinels.
