WoW Forever Blacksmithing Guide
Blacksmithing forges plate and mail armor, weapons and sharpening stones from metal bars. In WoW Forever it is also one of the professions Blizzard used to show off campsites, with a Sharpening Wheel that raises Attack Power.

Key milestones
- Arcanite Bars are the key reagent for the best level 60 smithing recipes, so an alchemist friend or a big budget is needed near 300. Warcraft Wiki

Leveling outline
- Mine and smelt as you level; Blacksmithing burns through bars faster than any other profession.
- Use sharpening stones and weightstones for cheap skill-ups; they also sell to other players.
- Decide on Armorsmith or Weaponsmith before level 40 so you save the right materials.
Best pairing
Mining. Bars come from smelted ore, so Mining is the natural partner and the cheapest way to level.
Who benefits from Blacksmithing
- Warriors and Paladins: Plate armor and two-handed weapons from specialization recipes were built for plate wearers.
- Physical damage dealers: Weightstones and sharpening stones are a cheap, permanent-feeling buff for every pull.
