Cooking turns meat and fish into food that restores health and grants buffs. In WoW Forever it becomes the heart of the new Camping system: the old Cooking Fire is now a Basic Campfire that other players can build around.

What we know for WoW Forever
- Official The Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire that creates a campsite with rest, vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs. Blizzard Entertainment

- Cook the meat you loot while leveling so skill-ups come for free.
- Buy the Expert Cookbook at 125 skill.
- Collect Giant Eggs and Zesty Clam Meat before heading to Tanaris for Artisan.
Best pairing
Fishing. Fishing supplies many of the best buff-food recipes, so the two secondary professions are leveled together.
Who benefits from Cooking
- Every class: Secondary professions do not use one of your two primary slots.
- Tanks and raiders: Stat food is a cheap buff you can make yourself.
