Key milestones
- Goblin Sapper Charge (Goblin Engineering 205) hits every nearby enemy for 600 Fire damage and deals 500 damage to you. Warcraft Wiki

Leveling outline
- Stockpile stone and copper early; blasting powders and bolts are the backbone of low skill-ups.
- Pick Goblin or Gnomish at 200 based on the gadgets you want, since only one specialization is allowed.
- Keep crafted target dummies and scopes: some are required for specialization quests.
Best pairing
Mining. Engineering eats bars and stone, so Mining keeps it affordable.
Who benefits from Engineering
- PvP players of every class: Bombs, nets and burst trinkets add stuns and damage your class kit does not have.
- Hunters: Engineers craft scopes for their own ranged weapons.
- Warriors and Rogues: Area explosives give single-target melee a burst of AoE damage in raids and battlegrounds.
