Leveling outline
- Skin everything you kill and keep the leather; armor kits are cheap early skill-ups.
- Convert surplus leather up a tier when you have the recipe instead of vendoring it.
- Choose Dragonscale, Elemental or Tribal by the armor your main character wears.
Best pairing
Skinning. Leather comes from skinning beasts, so Skinning makes Leatherworking nearly free to level.

- Hunters and Shamans: Dragonscale Leatherworking made mail armor suited to both classes.
- Rogues and Feral Druids: Elemental Leatherworking focused on Agility leather armor.
