The Mage has three talent trees: Arcane (DPS, 3 guides), Fire (DPS, 4 guides) and Frost (DPS, 8 guides). In guide terms, every Mage tree is played as DPS.
This page lists all 15 published Mage guides (3 PvE endgame, 3 PvP endgame, 4 solo leveling, 3 dungeon leveling and 2 group leveling); open a tree above for one spec. Plan your points in the Mage talent calculator, weigh the trees against each other with talent compare, or follow the Mage leveling guides. The dungeon level chart shows which dungeons open at each level, up to the level 55–60 dungeons at the top of the chart.
